To meet your specific needs, the KSBDC offers individualized, confidential, and comprehensive business consulting at no charge to you. KSBDC consultants are skilled professionals with expertise in many areas, including marketing and sales, accounting, financial analysis and cost control, personnel, inventory control, business start-up or acquisition, business liquidation or sale, strategic planning, and many other areas. KSBDC consultants bring a wealth of experience from many different industries. The KSBDC counseling approach is one of guidance and education, not of doing the work for the client. The KSBDC focuses on more than just helping a business owner write a business plan or filling out loan applications. That is why we focus on the "holistic picture." We review all the different areas that affect a business’s health and, ultimately, its bottom line. Your "Rights” and “Responsibilities" as a client are explained in the KSBDC Statement of Understanding. The KSBDC collaborates with a wide variety of resources, consultants, faculty, and other business professionals to provide the information you need to be successful. If we cannot answer your question directly, we will tap into our statewide and national network of other SBDC consultants, as well as tap into other resources to help your business succeed.
